The Uinta County Democratic Central Committee wants you to know that almost every county precinct has a precinct committeeman and precinct committeewoman. These people represent Democrats at the County Central Committee (CCC). They send people and ideas to the State Party and even on to the National Party!

This survey and website provide an opportunity for you to let the CCC know your opinions. (If you would like to find your particular Precinct Committee People, send us a note and we’ll get you in touch with them.)

Unfortunately, the CCC did not elect a new Chair at their March 2025 reorganization meeting. Nobody stood up for the 2-year role. The immediate future of the party, how and when the CCC meets, what the agendas will be…it is all up in the air right now. The Uinta County Democratic Party stands a real chance of languishing, right when things are really getting a bit autocratic out there.

The Party is like a tool in a drawer. It can be used to block and build; to support candidates and put forth ideas and policies. Or it can be left in the drawer, unused. It depends on what Democrats in Uinta County want to see happen. Uinta County knows Uinta County the best. The Wyoming Democratic Party is here to help, support and advise.

Getting involved, picking up the tool, is an opportunity to shape the organization so it better reflects your values and your vision! With so many other counties across the state, Dems are gathering for good and finding solidarity in numbers.

We hope you will continue to collaborate and find ways to bring your strengths to bear on the political climate in the Uinta County communities.
