    1. Call to Order
      1. WDP Staff opened the convention
    2. Opening
      1. Recognitions of guests
      2. Democracy Summer Program was introduced.
    3. Credentials Report
      1. 18 credentialed voters present
    4. Adopt Agenda and Rules
      1. Agenda approved by unanimous voice vote.
      2. Debate limits set by unanimous voice vote.
    5. Convention Officers
      1. Convention Chair nominated and elected by unanimous voice vote.
      2. Elect Convention Secretary nominated and elected by unanimous voice vote.
      3. Decision to opt out of electing Sergeant at Arms was passed by unanimous voice vote.
    6. Election of State Convention Delegates and Alternates
      1. Nomination and election of 5 delegates were approved by voice vote.
      2. Nomination of one delegate, pending voter registration affiliation was approved by voice vote.
    7. Platform and Resolutions
      1. Adoption of 2024 Uinta County Democratic Party Platform was adopted without modification by voice vote.
    8. Discussion about County Party Officers and Precinct Committee People was conducted. No officers were elected. Interest expressed from some about becoming more involved, perhaps as Precinct Committee People.
    9. Informational conversation about Election Judges – Info from Clerk Hutchinson was presented.
    10. Volunteering at Fort Bridger Rendezvous was brought up. Several individuals indicated an interest. Event organizer was contacted.
    11. It was determined to be too late in the academic year to engage the scholarship program this year. It will be revisited next year.

    22-8-102   Qualifications

    Except as otherwise provided by this section, judges of election and members of counting boards shall be registered electors and shall be physically, morally and mentally competent to perform their duties. The county clerk may appoint persons who are at least sixteen (16) years of age to serve as judges of election or members of counting boards if such persons meet all other requirements for qualification of an elector. A judge of election shall not be a member of a counting board at the same election except as provided by W.S. 22-8-108(d).
